Glossary Term: condom

Definition: A thin, flexible sheath typically made from latex or polyurethane, designed for wearing over the male organ during sexual intercourse to prevent sperm from meeting an egg, thus providing a method of birth control and reducing the risk of sexually transmitted infections.
