A private group for Christian wives
For wives who want to want to
Maybe you love your husband and you cannot remember the last time you actually wanted him. Maybe you never really felt that pull and you wish you did. Maybe you are tired of saying yes out of duty and would rather say yes because you mean it. Whatever brought you here, I understand it, because I want to want to as well.
I am Christina. I am starting a private group for Christian wives who want to work on this together, and I would love for you to be one of the first ones in the room with me.

32 of 40 spots left. The founding window closes on 8 November 2026, or sooner if all spots are taken.
The founding circle has closed. Thank you. The group is forming now and opens to more wives in the new year. Leave me your email below and I will be in touch as soon as there is a place for you.
Not ready to help start it? You can ask to hear when it opens to new members.
Why I am starting this
For years, through Uncovering Intimacy, we have heard from wives who say some version of the same thing: I love my husband, and I just do not want sex the way I feel I should. They are not cold and they are not failing. They are women who would like to have that desire of wanting to, and do not know how to get there.
I am one of them. This is something I work on in my own marriage, which is why I am not building this group to stand over it and just teach you. I am building the room I wish I had: a place where wives who want this can work on it honestly, together, without anyone having to pretend. I will be in it with you, as much a member as a host.
Lower desire is not a lack of love
You can love your husband deeply and still rarely feel in the mood. If that is you, you are in good company. In our survey of more than 2,000 people, about half the wives rated their drive lower than their husband's. Among those wives:
- 71%say their desire is responsive: it shows up after things start, not before.
- 59%at least sometimes ask their husband to help them get in the mood.
- 76%at least sometimes give in out of guilt or duty.
So if sex has become something you get through, you are not broken and you are not alone. The hard part is that when it keeps happening out of obligation, there is little room left to notice what you actually want, what gets in the way, or what might help. This group is about making that room. It is not about agreeing to sex more often. It is about growing your desire for it, because you want to. About working with the way God made us, instead of against it.
What I am picturing each week
This is my idea so far, not a finished plan, and that is on purpose. As founding members you get to help me shape it before it opens, so things will change. Right now I am picturing three small things each week:
A private journaling prompt
I will come up with a question to help you notice how desire works for you. Your journal is for your eyes only; the group sees only what you choose to share. Sharing is a great way to get ideas and feedback and connect with others who might be having similar thoughts.
A weekly warm-up
I will suggest something to keep desire warm during the week: flirting with your hubby, enjoying touch, letting yourself think about your husband in that way. Think of it as an invitation to pay attention, not a commitment to have sex.
An optional challenge
For weeks when you want to stretch a little. I might come up with an idea to challenge you to do something that feels a bit outside your comfort zone, or we (us wives in the group) might come up with ideas together that you are excited about but maybe a little too nervous to try without a little push, or maybe you pick your own because you know your husband best and you'll have creative ideas that will make both of you glow.
What founding members get

I am opening the group with a max 40 founding members who get to choose what this is going to look like. Founding spots are $19 a month, and you can cancel anytime. Supporters at $10 a month or more get a $5 discount.
- We will have our own space where we get to shape the group together.
- A vote on what we call ourselves. It does not have a name yet. We as the founders get to choose it.
- Founding-member badge. You are one of the first women in the room, and you can show it off if you want.

What I ask in return is light: just tell me honestly what is working and what is not, and when the group opens more widely in January, help me welcome the wives who join us.
Privacy
This is a tender subject, so the group is built to be safe before it is anything else.
- Wives only. Husbands are not members, and every member is added by hand.
- Usernames, not real names. Leave out anything that identifies you, your husband, your church or your town.
- Anonymous posting. You can message me if there is something too personal to put your username on and I'll post it anonymously on your behalf.
- Your journaling stays private. The prompts and your response you do in your own notebook, on your phone, in a Google or Word Doc: it's up to you.
- Who can see your posts: the other members, who know only your username; me, as the host; and the forum's admin, which are me and Jay, but he will only come in if we ask.
- Use your own account and email, ideally not one you share with your husband. Notification emails include post text, so adjust your settings if someone else reads your inbox.
If nothing changes
I remember what another year of more of the same looks like, because I have had those years. Sex stays as something you brace for or try to get out of. The gap between you and your husband quietly widens a little. And the questions you have about your own desire, what helps, what shuts it down, what you wish was different, go another year unanswered.
Those questions deserve attention and I think they are easier to face in a room full of women facing the same ones. So what if this could be what changes everything for you and your husband?
What I hope you walk away with
I cannot promise you a particular level of desire, and I would never attempt to measure this for you since we are all individuals. What I hope is simpler and more honest than that. I hope that you come to understand how desire actually works for you. I hope that you start to notice it developing. I hope that you can tell your husband what is working. And I hope that sex starts to feel like something you are part of, and something that you genuinely want.
I believe your desire and your pleasure are a gift God gave your marriage, not a duty you owe it. I would love to help you make room for that, one small step at a time, with other women who get it.
Questions
Is this really led by Christina?
Yes. I host the group: I welcome each woman, run the conversations and keep the room safe. I am also a participant. I am a wife working on this too, not an expert.
Can my husband join?
No. The group is for wives only. The activities will include your husband, of course, but he can't be in the group where we share our thoughts and opinions.
What if I am not ready?
This group is here to support you where you are at, bring your thoughts and questions, get others sharing their experiences, and take what works for you. No one is telling you that you have to do things that you are not comfortable with. This is for you to examine what you can do to change how you see yourself and your desire.
What if sex is painful, or there is hurt in our past?
This is a support group, not coaching, therapy or medical care. If sex is painful, please see a doctor or a pelvic floor physiotherapist first, and skip anything that hurts. If there is past hurt between the two of you, perhaps coaching is a better option for you at this time.
Come and build this with me
If this is the room you have been wishing for, come and help me build it. Founding spots are $19/month, cancel anytime, and there are 40 of them. The founding window closes on November 8th 2026, or sooner if all 40 are taken.
